Our Story
Located at the heart of Ōtepoti, Dunedin, we have recently established our practice within the iconic Savoy Building. Our journey began when “Damien, Pip and Carol” OR “our core team of two clinical psychologists and a physiotherapist” united with a shared vision: to establish an interdisciplinary practice centred around the management of persistent pain and delivering a positive rehabilitation environment that fosters a strong sense of community and support.

anew Pain Management Centre is an interdisciplinary team specialising in persistent pain management services. We are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with persistent pain. By offering centralised interdisciplinary services, fostering a supportive community, and prioritizing patient empowerment, we aim to improve the quality of life for our clients in Dunedin and beyond.
Our core team stands strong, composed of two clinical psychologists and a skilled physiotherapist. To complement this foundation, we've established a community of professionals including a medical doctor, pharmacist, occupational therapist, social worker, and dietician/nutritionist.
What sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to a comprehensive interdisciplinary approach, thoughtfully situated under one roof. This environment fosters the creation of a distinctive client community, one that is devoted to tackling the intricate complexities of persistent pain. Our approach meticulously examines the diverse physical, psychological, and social facets that deeply influence the well-being of our patients.
